Stone Lanterns (Ishidoro)
Stone Lanterns, known in Japanese as ishidoro, are a popular souvenir for expats leaving Japan, or to make that small Tokyo garden feel a little more Japanese. Due to their size and weight, we are unfortunately not able to offer these to customers abroad, they are only available to customers in the Tokyo area. If you are interested in one of these and leaving Japan soon, we can also help you ship them home.
We currently offer 2 types of yukimi lantern, both in 2 sizes. The designs on offer, as illustrated below, are the Yukimi Square type (square base with a hexagonal roof), and the Yukimi Round type (round 3-legged base with round hat). Both lanterns are available in 45 or 60cm variaions (1.5ft or 2ft), and are made of granite. For more details and prices, please contact us.
